The shooter streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek seems to really like WoW Classic . Recently he played it simply without turning on the Twitch stream. He is the second largest streamer on the platform. So he misses out on some views.
This is remarkable: The streamer Shroud is usually live daily on Twitch. But he took a little break from Twitch on the afternoon of September 3 and September 4.
After a 12-hour stream from Monday evening to Tuesday morning, one might naively assume: Well, he must need a break from WoW Classic. He plays like a madman. But the opposite is true.
As his girlfriend reveals on Twitter, Shroud still played 12 hours of WoW Classic on his non-Twitch days. He just wasn’t live on Twitch.
Shroud then said: “I just hit level 55. I’ve played so much WoW. Kill me!”
On Thursday, he was back with a 12-hour stream of “World of Warcraft” on Twitch.

This is the special part: Shroud is currently the second largest streamer on the platform with nearly 7 million people following his channel. When he streams, about 30,000 people on average watch him, giving him donations and subscriptions. He earns his money that way.
Playing for two days without streaming is already something special. He is essentially skipping his job but still doing the work.

DrDisrespect misses Shroud, wants to bring him “back to reality”
This special donation was received by Shroud: The Twitch streamer DrDisrespect is a shooter colleague of Shroud on Twitch. The two often tease each other.
DrDisrespect feels he is losing “his friend” to this WoW Classic.
He donated $100 to Shroud to send him the message that he had lost him to “the game” and needed to bring him back to reality. Surely a reference to the fact that WoW has the reputation of making players “addicted”.
DrDisrespect himself can hardly relate to WoW Classic.
