Which shooter is it about? Beautiful Light. This is a first-person perspective extraction shooter with PvPvE, set to be released on Steam in 2025. The game is being developed by the indie studio “Deep Worlds,” whose CEO Eric “Aherys” Rajot has worked as an esports player in Ubisoft’s tactical shooter Rainbow: Six Siege.
The gameplay released so far from Beautiful Light resembles a mix of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Escape from Tarkov. It has a realistic focus, combining it with mysterious events and monsters in a post-apocalyptic world.
The developers of the extraction shooter want to focus on immersive gameplay and horror. Accordingly, you will encounter not only other players but also monsters and abnormal creatures that want to go after you.

What is the game about? You are operators sent to extract mysterious artifacts. On each map, there is an artifact that you must find, collect, and defend against other players. You act in squads consisting of three players.
There are a total of 6 squads on a server. This means you can encounter up to 15 opposing operators who are also hunting for the artifact. Additionally, there are 6 anomalies. These are mysterious monsters trying to prevent humans from extracting the artifact. These anomalies are also controlled by players.
To obtain the artifact, you must complete various steps – like printing a keycard or turning on the power. Once you have the artifact, you must escape the map via helicopter.
For the full release, Beautiful Light will also have a contractor system that allows you to take on and complete various missions.
How does the game intend to be so atmospheric? Beautiful Light aims to be especially immersive and atmospheric. Here, sound design plays a crucial role. For example, there will be breathing sounds, a heartbeat, and realistic footsteps.

Important for immersion is also the communication and tactical approach within the team. The fights with other players are supposed to be very intense and over quickly. While you can revive your teammates up to 3 times, a run can end swiftly if your entire squad falls. You must be particularly vigilant, because in Beautiful Light, danger can lurk around every corner.
