The upcoming MMO shooter Enlisted by Gaijin impresses with stunning graphics. The game delivers 90 FPS even at 4K and utilizes NVIDIA’s Real-Time Ray Tracing technology.
Enlisted is an upcoming MMO shooter set in World War II. Unlike many competing titles like Battlefield or Call of Duty, Enlisted aims to be realistic and capture the chaos of war. The game is expected to be released in 2018.
Graphics technology at a new level
What is so great about the graphics? Enlisted is expected to become a visual powerhouse. As seen in the video, the game runs at 90 FPS and even at 4K, it employs NVIDIA’s new Real-Time Ray Tracing technology. Other games like Battlefield 5 or Metro Exodus can only manage this at 1080p resolution and 60 FPS. The technology seemed initially designed only for that resolution, until Enlisted proved otherwise.
What is Ray Tracing? This refers to a technology that allows for better representation of light effects. This is expected to optimally illuminate the destruction in Enlisted – including destructible terrain.
Developer Gaijin also plans to implement this technology for global illumination in all future developments.
