The next Shiny has been announced for Pokémon GO. The shimmering version of Spinda is coming to the game, but fans fear it will be too rare.
This was announced by Niantic: In a major news update, Niantic explained that Shiny Spinda will be coming to the game next month. Correspondingly, there will also be a new form of it, which could not be caught until now.
Players now have serious concerns that Shiny Spinda will be extremely hard to obtain. We explain why.

This is how Spinda has been so far: Currently, Spinda is available from the field research “Land 5 great curveball throws in a row”. However, the quest is quite rare at the moment.
Here players see a problem: With Spinda, trainers have 2 issues. Firstly, the field research is quite rare, and the quest is probably among the rarest in the game.
Secondly, the field research is difficult to complete. Many players have trouble landing 5 great curveball throws in a row. So even if one has found the quest, it doesn’t mean they are done yet.
Is there any news about a new quest? It is quite possible that Niantic will change the field research for next month. There have been months when the Spinda task was extremely easy and could be found almost everywhere.
So it might be that players will have an easier time coinciding with the release. However, there is no official information about this yet.
What does the new Spinda look like? This is not known yet. Spinda could have spots all over. The Shiny, however, always differs in the color of the spots, as they are green there.
When exactly will Shiny Spinda come? We have to wait until July 1st, until Shiny Spinda is available. It is quite possible that new field research will be introduced, as the current ones were announced for May and June.
