When is Shiny Latios coming? The legendary Pokémon is coming to Pokémon GO next week. From April 15 at 10 PM until April 22 at 10 PM, you will encounter Latios and possibly its Shiny.
In Germany, the event will start only on April 16, as the raids won’t run that late. You will have the chance for Latios only the next morning.
What we know about Shiny Latios
What kind of event is this? We are familiar with this kind of event from Latias, which was released as Shiny in February. There were also raids for a week.
The chance for a 5-star raid was also significantly higher there. Whether this will be the case for Latios remains to be seen. If that were the case, then you would have much better chances for more Latios raids.
How likely is Shiny Latios? The chance for a Shiny from a legendary raid is about 1 in 19.
Is Latios worth it? Not only should the Shiny motivate you to raid. Latios is one of the best dragon Pokémon in the game. So it is definitely worth having a strong Latios on your team.
What is good against Latios? The Pokémon is of Dragon and Psychic type and therefore has quite a few weaknesses. It is vulnerable to Dark, Dragon, Ice, Bug, Fairy, and Ghost types.
