Antonia “Reved” Staab (24) was the biggest streamer on German Twitch for 3 years. Then she announced a streaming break for health reasons. Now she is extending the break to her other social media channels.
Who is it about? Antonia “Reved” Staab started her career with Minecraft on YouTube and rose to become the biggest streamer on German Twitch within a few years. With the Streamer Awards, she also organized an important event for the German scene.
In August 2023, however, she unexpectedly announced a longer streaming break. The 24-year-old had long suffered from unexplained headaches and said she felt health-wise like a 70-year-old. Now Reved is saying goodbye to social media.
Reved says: She cannot heal with social media
Why is she quitting? In a YouTube video from November 29, 2024, Reved announced that she would be stepping back from all her social media channels indefinitely. The 24-year-old leaves it open whether she will return, but talks about her “last video.”
The streamer explains that the causes of many of her physical ailments are actually of a psychological nature. She had said something similar in May when she reported how much she suffered from her relationship with Twitch streamer Anni The Duck.
Now she has realized that the public discourse is getting in the way of her healing. She needs distance from it – both personally and professionally.
Moreover, there has been a death in the streamer’s family, which has thrown her off track.

A life outside of social media
What’s next: As Reved explains, social media has defined her previous life. She started at the age of 14, moved to the streamer paradise Madeira at 18, and became a full-time streamer. Now she wants to find out what she might actually enjoy outside of it.
The timing is quite unfortunate, as her Streamer Awards will take place next week, and she is also releasing merchandise again. Instead of her, the event will now be hosted by the streamers Rezo and NoWay.
The streamer says: She cannot step on stage in a good mood and host an event.
Especially because she loves streaming so much, she now has to pull the emergency brake before she loses all joy in it, says Reved. She makes it clear that she would love to come back one day, but cannot promise whether, when, and in what form that will happen.
Reved emphasizes several times that this year topics have resurfaced that are very distressing for her. This could refer to the quake that shook the German Twitch scene in spring 2024: How €2.50 plunged German Twitch into chaos and led to the career end of two influencers.
