The Twitch streamer Asmongold seems to have made an enemy: He believes the streamer Denims said on Twitch that she would offer $30,000 to anyone who could make “Asmongold” disappear and make the heroine Eve’s breasts in Stellar Blade larger. Apparently a joke, but Asmongold does not find it funny.
This is what the streamer said:
- The streamer sarcastically said in a Twitch stream: She would increase the amount. She offers $30,000 for anyone who can make this idiot disappear. While saying this, she looked at a video of Asmongold.
- Additionally, the person would also have to ensure that the breasts of Eve in Stellar Blade would get bigger – only then would the money be available.
- It was a win-win: Eve would then have bigger breasts and they wouldn’t have to see that idiot in their timeline anymore.
Asmongold turns on Twitch – but they do nothing
How Asmongold reacts: He initially responds with amusement and laughs. However, he seems to take it seriously.
He says he contacted Twitch and showed them the clip to see what happens.
If Twitch remains inactive, he is considering reporting the case to the police. He describes the behavior as completely insane and ridiculous.
A user points out to him that Denims said if Asmongold were really going to report her statement, the police would just laugh at him.
However, Asmongold seems unfazed: Then it would be what it is. He wants to see that first.
Streamer says: It wasn’t about Asmongold at all
This is what the streamer says: Denims says the clip is not about Asmongold at all, but about Mark Kern. That is quite mean, but she, as a “crazy freak,” has also demanded the enlargement of anime breasts.
She only wants to make it clear that the bounty is not about Asmongold. While she often disagrees with him, she does respect him.
It probably isn’t very tasteful to joke about murder threats, but she got carried away by the video she just watched.
Controversy over Stellar Blade is apparently the reason for the anger
This is how the streamer responds: Asmongold replied: It is indeed misleading if you offer $30,000 and the guy on the screen is him.
How does Mark Kern react? Kern seems to have come under fire because of his petition regarding Stellar Blade. In the petition, he requested the developers of Stellar Blade to reverse changes to the game that Kern considers censorship.
Kern says on Twitter that he takes the matter very seriously and is reviewing his options for taking action (via twitter).
Who is the streamer? Denims is a medium-sized streamer who exclusively streams “Just Chatting.” She reaches about 1,330 viewers when she is live.
Politically, she seems to be in a different camp than Asmongold.
She has criticized, among other things, how TimTheTatman and DrDisrespect supported their “buddy Nickmercs” for his homophobic comments.
Currently, her tweets are protected, but other channels, including OnlyFans and Fansly, are still active.
What’s behind it: The interesting thing is that Twitch has not intervened and has so far left the clip as is.
Normally, Twitch steps in at this level of attention, at least temporarily banning and taking down the video-on-demand. It remains to be seen whether they have yet to review this or classify the clip clearly as satire.
