In the next Hearthstone expansion, Murlocs will rain down. Shamans will receive a spell that will drive many players crazy.
The next expansion of Hearthstone is “Saviors of Uldum” and is set to be released next month. As usual, Blizzard is gradually revealing new cards and presenting them individually. In the meantime, some cards have come together that we want to present to you here. Among them are many (seemingly) weak cards for the Paladin, but also a few new Plagues.
Paladins will get the new beast minion Salhet’s Pride. This costs 3 mana and has weak stats of 3/1, but a solid deathrattle. The Paladin draws 2 minions from the deck with 1 health.
Also for the Paladin is the Sandwasp Queen. This beast minion costs only 2 mana and also has the stats of 3/1, but comes with a strong battlecry. The Paladin gets 2 Sandwasps with stats of 2/1 into their hand. The Sandwasps are also beasts that cost 1 mana.
The third card for the Paladin is the minion Unruly Fanatic. It costs only 1 mana and brings stats of 2/1 to the board. Additionally, it gains +1 attack every time the Paladin summons another minion. So it can rapidly gain strength, but it is also extremely fragile.
Priests are looking forward to the new minion Soul Companion. For 4 mana, it brings weak stats of 3/1 onto the field, but has an extremely strong battlecry. It resurrects a random friendly minion that has died in this game. Additionally, it grants that minion Resurgence. Resurgence is a new keyword that ensures a dead minion is revived at 1 health upon dying for the first time.
The Plague of Madness is a new spell for rogues that costs only 1 mana. The spell ensures that both heroes equip a poisonous dagger with stats of 2/2. The card can be useful to destroy a different weapon in the opponent’s hand or when you have nothing to fear from poisonous weapons yourself.
Shamans will once again flood the game with Murlocs, as they will receive the spell Murloc Plague. For 3 mana, this card ensures that all minions on the battlefield are transformed into random Murlocs. Since Murlocs usually have low stats, the card can be used offensively as well as defensively to clean up the battlefield with another spell afterwards.
What do you think of these new cards? Do you like them? Or is the upcoming expansion rather boring so far?
