What is BDO: Shadow Arena? Shadow Arena is a battle royale mode set in the universe of Black Desert Online. Originally, it was integrated into the MMORPG for a short time, and now it is being released as a standalone title on Steam.
The concept should be familiar to most: There is a combat arena and 40 people fighting to be the last survivor. You can either do this alone or in a team that backs you up.
In Shadow Arena, you can choose from 9 different hero characters that originate from the lore of Black Desert. They all have their own specialties and abilities, and you can pick one that fits your playstyle best. More characters will be added over time.
There are also PvE elements. You need to kill monsters on the battlefield to gain experience points and loot. You use this to improve your gear and abilities.
And everything is wrapped in the action-packed combat system of Black Desert Online. Our author Alexander Leitsch has played the beta himself and reported on it.
What can you win? In cooperation with Pearl Abyss, we are raffling off 5,000 keys for the Closed Beta of Shadow Arena, the battle royale offshoot of the MMORPG Black Desert Online.
The beta will take place on Steam, and you can secure the key here and now. The test begins on February 27 and ends on March 8.
Shadow Arena itself is set to release in the first half of 2020, first on PC and later on consoles.
How can I participate? To immediately receive a key, you must complete at least 3 actions in the Gleam tool below. Then the key will be displayed to you directly in the tool.
Note that there is only one key per IP. You can redeem the key normally in your Steam account.
