The anime is still at the very beginning of the story. Xylo Forbartz is on a mission with another hero named Dotta to cover the retreat of a unit of the Holy Knights. They are overwhelmed by monsters. In the chaos, Dotta has stolen a coffin containing Teoritta, a so-called goddess.
Xylo must, against his will, cooperate with the goddess to defeat a flood of monsters. However, it turns out that Xylo was framed when he was declared a serious criminal. He fell victim to a conspiracy.
