Today, December 5th, Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris launches. Here is a livestream for the first DLC. We provide information on the weekly reset as well.

This is the kickoff for the first Destiny 2 expansion Curse of Osiris. Your Guardian journey continues – you head to Mercury, where you seek out Osiris and face the Vex.

Weekly reset on December 5th – Nightfall strike, raid challenge
On this Tuesday, the reset times for Destiny 2 will change. Until now, the weekly reset always took place in the morning, but it will now occur at 6 PM (winter time) and 7 PM (summer time).
The nightfall strike is the Tangled Shore. Modifiers are Friction (health and shield regeneration is slower, but defeated enemies can drop light sources to recharge both) and Time Warp: Kill Timer (defeat enemies to extend the timer).
The Flashpoint is in the European Dead Zone. There, Cayde-6 has his treasure maps.
The weekly milestone is that you receive a Powerful gear after three heroic strikes. This brings you to the highest power level (335).
In PvP, there are new Osiris playlists, where you can play the new PvP maps.
The raid challenge is in the Gardens of Salvation.
Shiny engrams are now called “Illuminated Engrams.”
In the Eververse, there is a “Call me” gesture as well as a “Swift Dance.” Exotic gestures are not available this week for Glimmer. However, there is an ornament for a new exotic weapon: “Prometheus Lens.” That looks like the new trace rifle.
In the Illuminated Engrams, the exotic gestures “Selfie”, “Mic Drop”, and “Sweep” may be included. All have been seen in trailers already.
By the way: The first raid wing will only start in the days after the launch of Curse of Osiris. But the first footage shows: The Leviathan raid wing looks epic!
