The mystery MMO Secret World Legends is getting additional content that was already available in the original game. This time it’s about raids and world bosses. For such giant creatures, you’ll need to team up with 40 players to take them down.
Secret World Legends is the revamped remake of the mystery and horror MMO The Secret World. Secret World Legends places a strong emphasis on story, atmosphere, and mood. However, the game is also a classic online role-playing game, and therefore players expect dungeons, world bosses, and raids in addition to story and quests.
Now the missing raid in Manhattan comes, as well as the ability to summon gigantic world bosses directly in Agartha to brutally take them down!
Secret World Legends – Finally, the tutorial monster is coming!
If you’ve played Secret World Legends, you know the new tutorial. In this tutorial, you will be chased through a graveyard full of ghosts and undead in the course of a (dream) dream, where you will learn all the basics of gameplay.
Later, the tutorial ends with a short, quite chaotic glimpse into the future: The Manhattan neighborhood in New York lies in ruins, and a giant tentacle monster breaks out of Times Square and attacks your group!
Secret World Legends – No special treatment for subscribers
In the tutorial, the boss fight ends after a few minutes. But in the now available raid in Manhattan, you can finally stretch the tentacles of the giant creature and shake it until fat loot drops. There are new talismans and sought-after mini-pets among others!
The raid is designed for 10 well-equipped inhabitants of the Secret World, and there is even a convenient story mode for beginners. Those who want more action can try the higher difficulty levels and, upon success, loot even more and better items. By the way, you don’t need keys or other tokens for this, the loot is available for everyone!
However, keep in mind that there is a lockout timer for the Manhattan raid. If you have already completed the raid, you’ll have to wait until the cooldown period is over. This also applies to paying customers who have a subscription.
Secret World Legends – Who ordered the mega world boss?
In addition to the raids, there is even more for fans of well-organized boss fights. You can teleport the bosses from the “Lairs,” the high-end combat zones of each region, directly into the beautiful Agartha and beat them senseless there as mega bosses. However, you will need 40 players for this.
To summon such a boss, you must first defeat it in its regular form in the respective Lair. You will then receive a special item that you can use on the platform in Agartha where the “Whispering Tide” event once started.
Once you have 40 players together – Your guild friends will be automatically notified, and random players can also enter via portal – the big boss fight can begin! However, for the loot box, you will need the usual Lair keys; otherwise, the box will remain closed.
