Repairing weapons in Dying Light 2 can be exhausting and costly, as you need a lot of mods for it. It is also limited. However, you can use a secret item for repairs an unlimited number of times. MeinMMO shows how to obtain it.

What kind of item is this? The Korek Charm is a mod that allows you to change the appearance of your weapons. You get it as a reward in a hidden room after completing some tasks.
Unlike mods that allow you to repair your weapons, the charm can be applied an unlimited number of times. Additionally, it is 10 times more effective: It repairs a total of 500 durability on a weapon.
This is how the item works: You apply the charm to your weapon like a mod and can then remove it. Thus, the Korek Charm theoretically provides unlimited durability. However, this also means that you can only repair modifiable weapons.
You should ensure that your favorite weapons are in good condition before starting a fight. If they break, even the wonder item cannot help. It is particularly frustrating if you lose a beloved artifact weapon this way – or one of the best:

How do I get the charm? You can find the blueprint for the Korek Charm in the same room as the secret finger gun. You can find the complete guide in the linked article, but here is the short version:
- Go to the top of the VNC Tower (only possible after the “Broadcast” quest)
- Glide to the building with the antenna in the southwest
- Pick up the cable on the roof and go down one level
- Connect the cable to a generator and repeat the process with a second generator
- Open the door with the GRE key and deal with the explosive zombie behind it
In the developer room, you’ll have to solve a puzzle, similar to the gun. Sit down in the following seats in order:
- Yellow stool between the two blue/green ones; from there counter-clockwise
- Pillow in front of the television
- Single stool next to the pillow
- Double stool facing the entrance
If you sit on the last stool for about 30 seconds, the blueprint for the Korek Charm will appear on the table. Collect it and you can then craft the item. In the embedded video by YouTuber AshesWolf, you can see again how to get into the room and obtain the blueprint:
