Season 2 of the live-action adaptation of One Piece will soon premiere on Netflix. In Season 2, a new member joins the Straw Hat crew. However, shortly before, there is another member seen, who will meet the Straw Hats many years later.

Who is seen? Just a few days ago, rumors circulated that actor Martial T. Batchamen plays Brook in the One Piece series. Only now is there confirmation from several insiders and a picture from the set showing Brook on a ship.
This is a member who will only join the Straw Hats many years later. After the current 5 members, Brook joins only after 3 more pirates. He is a musician and will later bring a cheerful atmosphere to the ship.
However, it makes sense that the pirate is seen now in Season 2. His fate is linked to the whale that lives at Reverse Mountain. He will only be seen briefly in a flashback.
Brook appears many years earlier
When will he fully appear? If the pace of the seasons continues like this, we wouldn’t see Brook before 2035. It may be that the pace of storytelling changes repeatedly during filming. In fact, Brook only appears much later in the story.
Is the picture real? The shown image has raised some doubts about its authenticity among users on X. After all, some containers can be seen in the lower right corner. A fan wonders why they would leave the containers standing there in the lower right for a poster.
Others clarify that the containers are part of the set and that the image is not an official poster. Rather, it is simply a picture from the set that would be styled like a poster with text and logo.
Since the info has now been confirmed by several well-known One Piece insiders, we can assume that the picture is most likely a real image from the set. But remember, we still have to wait for the official announcement or the release of the series for full certainty.
