Since Friday evening, Season 17 of Diablo 3 has been running with the “Legacy of Nightmares” buff. We show you which classes are currently winning the leaderboards.
What’s new in Season 17? Blizzard opened the new Season 17 in Diablo 3 with several changes. These partly relate directly to the gameplay, which has now been expanded with three new greater rifts (14, 15, and 16).
There were also changes regarding the balance of classes. Here, the developers have adjusted some sets and legendary items that affect various builds.
Additionally, all season characters now passively gain the effect of “Legacy of Nightmares” for the entire duration of Season 17. This means: When you are not wearing a set, each ancient item equipped increases your damage by 750% and reduces your damage taken by 4%.
This is what the leaderboards look like: While some players used the weekend to leisurely reach level 70 and perhaps complete their first set with the help of the season journey, others are already eagerly on the leaderboards. There, you will be noted over time according to how quickly you completed Greater Nephalem Rifts. The higher the rift and the lower the time taken, the better the ranking.
Now, shortly after the start of the season, the leaderboards are still somewhat chaotic. Players are still frequently finding improvements for their gear and climbing the ranks with the new items.
According to our Tier List for Season 17 in Diablo 3, some builds have a great chance to climb the leaderboard.
Nevertheless, we are already giving you an outlook on which classes are currently leading the leaderboards on PC. As of May 20, 10:00 AM.
Solo:
- Level 122: Wizard, 10:29 minutes
- Level 116: Necromancer, 13:57 minutes
- Level 113: Demon Hunter, 14:33 minutes
- Level 113: Crusader, 14:51 minutes
- Level 111: Witch Doctor, 12:51 minutes
- Level 110: Monk, 10:35 minutes
- Level 109: Barbarian, 14:54 minutes
In the hardcore section, the distribution among solo players is somewhat different. Here, the Wizard leads at level 117, followed by the Demon Hunter at level 106, the Witch Doctor at level 105, then the Necromancer at level 104, followed by the Monk at level 102 and Barbarian and Crusader at level 101.
