The new Season 11 of The Division 2 is online. There is a new Manhunt and some fresh gear. What the new season has to offer and how things will continue in the coming months, you can find out here.
With considerable delay and update stress, Season 11 of The Division went online on February 27. The loot shooter is getting less attention. In the meantime, further development has even been halted. Therefore, the content packages are relatively small, but at least there is still something:
- Season 11
- Fresh Manhunt over the next weeks
- 2 new Exotics
- 1 Gear-Set / 1 Brand-Set
- 4 named parts
- Quality-of-Life adjustments
- New Season Pass
We briefly introduce you to the new content, along with the roadmap for Season 11. You can watch the trailer for the new season here:
The Division 2: Contents Season 11
What does the season have in store? In the coming weeks, you will face 4 new enemies to ultimately hunt down the new villain Stovepipe. Until May 2023, there will be occasional new Manhunt missions. Also, as usual, league and gameplay events will take place during that time.
Here is the roadmap:
Season 11 is somewhat more generous when it comes to new gear. There are even 2 new Exotics – one weapon and one armor piece:
- Exo-Weapon: Sacrum Imperium
- Headshot kills of marked enemies give you movement speed (30 seconds cooldown)
- Further headshot kills reduce the cooldown
- Exo-Backpack: NinjaBike Messenger Bag
- Counts as part of an equipped gear set – can also count for 2 sets simultaneously
On top of that, there are 2 new sets for your arsenal:
- Gear-Set: Hotshot
- Focus on marksman rifles: Multiple headshots in a row improve your stats
- Backpack buff: You can miss a headshot and the headshot streak continues
- Brand-Set: Habsburg Guard a.k.a. “HG”
- Piece bonuses: Headshots, marksman rifle, status effects
- Named chest armor: Causes status effects
- Named backpack: Can distribute status effects
Additionally, there are also 2 new named weapons:
- Prophet
- Headshot kills ensure guaranteed critical headshot hits
- Relic
- Headshot kills ensure guaranteed critical headshot hits
Moreover, there have been some balance adjustments to existing gear. Check out the English patch notes if you want to dive deeper via ubisoft.com.
The reactions to Season 11 are mixed. Under the tweet with the announcement (via twitter.com), some players are happy, while others complain about problems in the game and say that The Division 2 crashes more frequently on PC.
There are also some users who celebrate the new gear and brand sets. But they don’t know what to do with the stuff. Here, a larger inventory is being demanded, as such items are hardly collectible anymore when you already have a wide inventory of weapons and gear.
@Mindstrike writes: “With these new sets … is there a chance that you’ll give us more space in the inventory/bank?”.
