In Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1 2021 has started, bringing a lot of new content to the game with “New Order.” This is also the perfect entry point for all newcomers. We tell you why.
This is New Order: Since January 27, you can dive into CoD Mobile with New Order (in English: New Order). The new Season 1 has started, replacing the previous 13th season of the mobile shooter.
With Season 1, a ton of new content has arrived, requiring even experienced players to find their bearings again. It is the perfect time for new players to take their chance. We show you what to expect in Call of Duty: Mobile and Season 1.
All content of Season 1 of CoD Mobile
This is what Season 1 brings to Multiplayer: The list of new features is long. We include it here:
- The map Reclaim makes its debut in CoD Mobile
- There are 2 new multiplayer modes: 3v3 Gunfight and Zombie Invasion for 20 players
- Two new weapons are introduced: The assault rifle FR .556 and the DMR SKS
- A brand new Battle Pass with free and premium pass tiers
- The event “Fight for Humanity” will take place later in the season
In the event “Fight for Humanity,” you must capture new territories daily and choose a side (Atlas or Cordis) to remain loyal to. The goal is for one of the two factions to capture all 15 territories.
In the free part of the Battle Pass, you will unlock the FR .556. Additionally, there is the operator ability “Gravitational Vortex Cannon. In the free part, you will also receive various tactical equipment, such as concussion grenades.
The premium part of the Battle Pass includes various skins for weapons and characters. They are themed in a cyberpunk style and come in vibrant colors.
This is what Season 1 brings to Battle Royale: The Battle Royale gets the Blitz Attack mode for 40 players. This is a shorter round in Battle Royale, which means the safe zone shrinks faster.
In Battle Royale, there is also the new class Desperado. However, not much is known about it yet.
Why newcomers should take a look
This is what CoD Mobile offers: The mobile shooter is played worldwide and has extremely good ratings. Many players praise that despite being a mobile game, it is a damn good shooter. The mechanics are solid and realistic, and Pay2Win is hardly present here.
Generally, CoD Mobile has the best prerequisites to be a strong shooter. Not without reason, the game was downloaded over 100 million times in its release week.
CoD Mobile impresses players for many reasons:
- It regularly brings new content like maps, weapons, or modes
- There are also plenty of events for specific occasions, such as Christmas, Halloween, or Easter
- With real money, you can only get cosmetics – spending money does not give an advantage
- The game runs smoothly and there are very few complaints about bugs
Is it still worth it in 2021? The community around CoD Mobile is massive. Even more than a year after release, the developers keep the game up to date. Now, with Season 1, new features will be introduced again and again throughout February, such as the “Fight for Humanity” event. Additionally, there is the new map Reclaim, which brings fresh air to multiplayer.
CoD Mobile is definitely not just a short hype game, but continues to prove that it can compete with its big brother on consoles.
Why is Season 1 worth it for newcomers? The new season in CoD Mobile sets a good starting point for all newcomers or CoD veterans who want to try gaming on mobile.
With the new maps and modes, every player, whether veteran or newcomer, is thrown into the deep end. So, having played a few hours won’t give you a significant advantage here.
Moreover, it is the start of the seasons in 2021. You could therefore well experience the development of the seasons in the coming months and not feel out of place if you suddenly start with Season 5.
You can level up the new Battle Pass comfortably and don’t have to rush since you’re starting right at the beginning of the season. So you have an advantage here as well.
