The Xbox Game Pass grants access to numerous current games for Microsoft’s console, including Sea of Thieves. The signup process for the Xbox Game Pass is quite cumbersome and not very intuitive. Therefore, we want to go through the process together with you.
14 Days Free Sea of Thieves – Like a PC Demo with All Content
You can access the Xbox Game Pass via this page. There, simply click on “Play for free for 14 days” and you will be redirected. You may encounter an error message stating that the page is not reachable. Just keep clicking the button until it works.
On the new page, select “Xbox Game Pass – Test for 14 Days Free“, then click on “Build Your Bundle Now.” If you haven’t logged in or created a Microsoft account so far, you need to do it now.
Activate Popups
Choose a payment method, we selected “Direct Debit”. Enter your details there and enable popups. If you don’t do this, you will be repeatedly asked for your bank details.
In the popup, scroll down, enter your location, and add a signature by clicking. Once you confirm this, your purchase is complete. Microsoft will inform you that it may check your bank details and therefore transfer a small sum to you, which is inconsequential for you.
Check Emails
Now check your emails. If you received one with the subject “Welcome to Your Free Xbox Game Pass Trial“, you can skip the following paragraph.
If you did not receive an email, you need to repeat the process. Because only your bank details were registered, but the Xbox Game Pass was not activated. Therefore, repeat the process.
Start Microsoft Store App – Cancel Trial Subscription on Time
You cannot download Sea of Thieves via the browser. You need to start the Microsoft Store app. Log in and search for the game. Then you can download Sea of Thieves and other games:

- Halo Wars: Definitive Edition
- ReCore
- Riptide GP: Renegade
- Zoo Tycoon: Ultimate Animal Collection
- Super Lucky’s Tale
Note that the trial subscription automatically converts to a paid version. So cancel it in time.
