SCUM is coming to Early Access. The game is an open-world survival MMO, but it has the scenario of a battle royale shooter. However, you also need to pay attention to your body and, for example, what you eat.
Battle of the Prisoners
PUBG meets Hunger Games. SCUM places you in an arena where prisoners fight for their survival for the entertainment of spectators. It gets very brutal. You fight until only one player remains. You use whatever weapons you find in the game area. This is somewhat reminiscent of the Hunger Games film series. Because your fellow players are not your only enemies. Hunger also poses a challenge.
Rewards from Spectators. Just like in the Hunger Games, you can receive rewards from sponsors in the game world. Depending on how you perform in the fights, you will receive useful items that grant you advantages.
Pay attention to your body. In SCUM, it is not only important to defend yourself against other players, but you also need to ensure that you satisfy your hunger and keep your body fit. You can even improve yourself through a character progression system. For example, if you are too fat, you will have trouble running away from your opponents.
Through the progression system, you also improve:

- weapon handling
- and your combat experience
Steam Early Access and Season 2. In August, SCUM will be playable in an Early Access version on Steam. An exact date will still be announced. The game is expected to be continually expanded based on seasons. The developers have already teased Season Two, which introduces new elements like combat drones and mechs.
