In the Steam hit Scum, retractable penises have now been added. However, they caused some bugs. A hotfix has resolved those issues – such penis bugs do not align with the developers’ desire for realism.
Here’s what’s going on with the penises in Scum: We reported last week that Scum has received the customizable value “penis length.” This came with the update “Wild Hunter.”
The purely male character types in Scum can sacrifice values like stamina or strength during character creation and prefer to add extra centimeters to their genitalia:
- The minimum was 2.5 centimeters
- The standard was 10 centimeters
- The maximum was a whopping 20 centimeters
- Founders received a bonus of 5 centimeters
Just don’t get disturbed while peeing
Here were the penis bugs: As often happens with complex game systems, not everything went smoothly. There were three penis bugs, as PC Gamer reports.
- One bug caused the penis to grow longer with each login
- A glitch caused the hands to become stuck to the genitals if the player was disturbed while urinating
- And another bug made it possible to enlarge the penis without sacrificing values as was intended
Hotfix resolves issue: The current hotfix should have resolved all these problems. It is now live on Steam.
In addition, it brings a variety of other bug fixes, balance changes, and quality-of-life improvements such as:
- Arrows can now stack up to 12 (previously 5)
- Candles no longer spread their heat in such a wide radius
- The M9 and the Desert Eagle now have new, smoother, and better shooting characteristics
- And they adjusted how much sodium players lose when they urinate
As you can see, Scum has made realism a priority. In this world, it certainly doesn’t fit if everything just gets longer because you log in.
