Are the established shooters not challenging enough for you or too slow? Lawbreakers could solve these issues and put your skills to the test.
As of today, you can officially play the new hero shooter “Lawbreakers” on PlayStation 4 and PC. However, Lawbreakers does not want to be “just any shooter,” but rather emphasizes a high skill cap. Apparently, casual players are not the target if they want to play at the top level.
The trailer asks us: “Are you skilled as fuck?“
Lawbreakers – Is this an FPS game for you?
If a new shooter wants to “establish itself,” it has a tough time in the current market. Heavyweights like the Battlefield series or Blizzard’s Overwatch already have a large fanbase. It is therefore difficult for a new title to garner any attention.
Lawbreakers comes right out swinging and asks potential players if they are skilled as fuck. Is this provocation justified? Is Lawbreakers really that challenging? The following trailer provides an insight into the new FPS game:
FPS without Gravity
In Lawbreakers, you demonstrate your multiplayer skills and fight on different maps in tough battles. The high speed of the game should be a welcome change for many players compared to slower shooters that are currently popular. However, this is also a challenge.
You can see what a map in Lawbreakers looks like in the following video about the Trench Map:
Lawbreakers is an arena shooter with a class system and low gravity. At launch, there are 18 characters divided into four different roles. Currently, there are four different game modes available where you can prove your skills.
How well the game is received by the community will probably become clear in the coming weeks, when many will have tested the game extensively. Initial reviews on Steam are very positive. 89% of the 532 reviews gave the shooter a thumbs up.
The fresh breath in the FPS scene is appreciated by many players. You can already buy Lawbreakers on Steam and in the PS Store for €29.99. This is well received by gamers who want to try a new title without paying the usual €60, but instead can try something cheaper.
