In week 9 of Season 4 in Fortnite: Battle Royale, you will find another treasure map. It is located in Haunted Hills and leads you to a hidden treasure. Here’s how to find it!
Do not trust the data miners! Once again, the foxes at Epic have tricked the data miners. Because in the leaks about the challenges for week 9, only “Search between movie titles” was mentioned so far. Therefore, many players guessed Risky Reels, as movies could be shown there.
But in the end, it was all nonsense, Epic has only used placeholders, as we suspected, to keep up the suspense. As usual, there’s again a traditional treasure hunt complete with a map.
The treasure from Haunted Hills – Here’s how to find it!
No map needed: The treasure is a Battle Star worth ten big points in the Pass. For that, you get a complete level in the Battle Pass as always. To find the treasure, you do not need to find the map in Haunted Hills first. It is enough to go straight to the location. It is not far away, in Junk Junction.
The treasure location in Junk Junction
Off to the junkyard! Junk Junction is a junkyard located in the northwest of the map. You may need to glide through the air a bit to reach this spot.
In this image, you can see the exact location on the map again.
Where exactly is the treasure? Land in Junk Junction directly on top of the car pile at the middle of the upper edge. Right where the “N” of Junk Junction is on the mini-map. A blinking star should appear as you approach. Collect it, and it belongs to you.
But watch out that no one shoots you while searching for and collecting the treasure! Although players are usually quite tolerant at the beginning of a challenge, there are always nasty John Wicks. And once you finally have the star, make sure to finish the ongoing match correctly, otherwise, it won’t count. So if necessary, just let yourself be eliminated.
