At the end of March, the lightly clad ladies of Scarlet Blade will be no more. After numerous issues, the end of the MMORPG has now been announced.
On March 31, it will be the end of the permissiveness
In the MMORPG Scarlet Blade (formerly “Queens Blade”), the lights will finally go out shortly before its 3rd birthday. The game has particularly made headlines due to its distinct permissiveness of the exclusively female heroes. After being unable to regularly deliver content last year due to technical difficulties, the game is now facing its end.
In recent months, there were attempts to roll out a new patch repeatedly. However, an error prevented this several times. The unfortunate developers simply could not fix this problem and now find themselves forced to shut down Scarlet Blade at the end of next month.
Until the servers are shut down on March 31, players will still receive some advantages. The XP gain has been increased by 500%, and all items in the cash shop have been reduced to a cost of 1 AP – they are basically a gift. Those who might be upset now because they spent real money on the game in recent weeks can breathe a sigh of relief. Aeria Games will refund all buyers the currency so that it can be used in other games from the publisher.
Fans can continue playing in Echo of Soul
Interestingly, there is an offer in connection with Echo of Soul: Anyone who had at least one character of level 39 or higher in Scarlet Blade can grab a special veteran pack in Echo of Soul. This starts you directly at level 35 in the game and gives you some special extras.
