Update on April 16 at 08:25 AM: Rockstar Games announced on April 15 around 21:39 that the issue has now been resolved. Players should restart the game to have the lost items, houses, and vehicles displayed again.

Why are cars, houses, and weapons suddenly missing in GTA Online?
This is the bug: Anyone logging into GTA Online right now may encounter a problem. You stand on the map and suddenly have no weapons. Your house on the map is not displayed, as if you no longer own one. And you have no cars – the mechanic states that he can’t do anything right now. Usually, you call him to select a car from your garage that he should deliver.

Some players now do not want to log into GTA Online until the problem is resolved. Although it’s currently easy to earn a million GTA dollars.
When asked on reddit, some affected players responded that they are playing on PC. This platform seems to be the most affected at the moment. However, there are reports of affected players on PS4 as well.
Some suspect that it has to do with the $500,000 login bonus that Rockstar is distributing to players in April. Others believe that it is related to server issues or another bug. Rockstar’s support page on Twitter has not commented on this yet. They advise individual players to open a ticket.
