Hearthstone tempts with free card packs. But for that, it’s better to save your daily quests.
In a few weeks, the latest Hearthstone expansion “The Witchwood” will be released. A total of 135 new cards await the players, and this means that a large number of card packs must be purchased to secure the new cards.
But even before the release, Blizzard celebrates the transition to the Year of the Raven – old sets are rotating out and can no longer be played in the Standard format. This includes cards from “Whispers of the Old Gods,” “One Night in Karazhan,” and “Gadgetzan” – all cards from these expansions will only be playable in Wild mode.
Year of the Raven brings free packs
To celebrate the beginning of the new year, Blizzard has come up with a special event that offers a total of 14 free card packs!
Because anyone who completes a daily quest between March 27 and April 9 will receive a free card pack.
The card packs can come from the following four expansions:
Journey to Un’Goro
Knights of the Frozen Throne
Goblin & Catacombs
The Witchwood
Save Daily Quests on March 25/26!
In the official announcement, it sounds like each quest completion will grant a pack, not just the first one of the day. So players should not complete their quests on March 25 and 26 to be able to grab 3 packs on March 27. This would increase the maximum available packs from 14 to 16.
Are you looking forward to the “new year” in Hearthstone and the free packs? Or is that too much work for you?
