The Sauercrowd has already achieved its actual goal in WoW Classic, but there is still to be a final raid. A Twitch streamer is already saying goodbye to the guild.
Who is this streamer? Lars alias “Pummelfee86” comes from Bremen and has been streaming on Twitch since April 2021. When three Twitch streamers Metashi12, HandOfBlood, and Papaplatte launched the Sauercrowd event in WoW Classic in December 2025, he was one of the first to come on board.
Streamer leaves Sauercrowd, but the guild continues
Now Pummelfee86 is leaving the event: In a short clip that captures the moment (you can see this on sauercrowd.gg), you can see how the streamer says goodbye live on camera – even while his character is being attacked and is about to die.
“Now we’ve done it,” says the streamer and thanks everyone for the event: “So I’m out as far as Sauercrowd is concerned.” He thanks especially the two streamers HandOfBlood and Exsl95 (pronounced “Axel95”), who brought him into the event.
It was definitely a great time, it was fun, met cool people. But for me, the project is now over.

Pummelfee86 was one of the players who had to endure the most setbacks in WoW Classic Hardcore: He had to start over 14 times before he finally reached level 60. So he can conclude the event with success.
What’s next for Sauercrowd? Actually, the project is already over, as the goal that was set at the beginning has been achieved. The goal was to master the raid “Molten Core” – and that has been achieved.
- The first group completed the raid on February 22, 2026, over 200,000 viewers cheered along
- A second group successfully completed the raid on February 23 – they even managed to complete the raid without any deaths
However, the event is not completely over yet, explains HandOfBlood. On March 1, 2026, Sauercrowd will start a final raid, namely the level 60 raid “Onyxia’s Lair”. In it, participants will first fight through the home of the black dragon before confronting him directly in the end.
