The streamer event Sauercrowd is currently live on Twitch. Several streamers are playing there, including NoWay, the hardcore version of WoW Classic. Due to his time in WoW, he realized what he has been missing during his LoL career.
Why does NoWay want to quit LoL? In a new YouTube video on one of his channels, NoWay talked about the end of his LoL career. The Twitch streamer mentions two reasons:
- NoWay has become too old to maintain his standard in LoL without investing too much time.
- He has had little time to explore other games due to the extreme LoL grind over the past 11 years.
When does he want to quit? Before NoWay stops playing LoL so intensively, he wants to complete one last challenge. For several years, NoWay has been playing on various servers around the world to reach the highest rank in LoL (Challenger) on each of them.
Most recently, he was able to conquer the Chinese super server, which was the eleventh server. Currently, NoWay is playing in the Oceania region and is currently Grandmaster, the rank before Challenger. NoWay himself estimates he has about a year or a year and a half to achieve this challenge.
Through Sauercrowd and WoW, NoWay realized what he is missing besides LoL
What impact do Sauercrowd and WoW have on NoWay? According to NoWay, there are many really good games outside of LoL that he would like to play and get to know. During the WoW event, he realized how much fun he has exploring and also wants to experience new games.
What does he want to stream instead of LoL? According to twitchtracker.com, NoWay has streamed 90% of his Twitch career playing LoL. That’s an impressive 21,552 hours (as of February 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM).
After finishing his challenge, he wants to become a “Variety streamer.” “Variety” means a diversity of content, and for NoWay, it means he wants to stream whatever he feels like at the moment. He even mentioned a specific project idea: he is interested in a speedrun challenge in Minecraft.
For NoWay, this new path feels like retirement. He expects that his viewership will drop significantly, but he is not worried about financial difficulties. According to him, he has some reserves, but he still needs to earn some money.
It’s not new that some streamers are making good money and have to pay a lot of taxes. NoWay has also been hit by a large payment because he didn’t use the tax cheat code that Twitch streamers are supposed to use: NoWay has to pay 800,000 euros in one month because he didn’t use the tax cheat code that Twitch streamers are supposed to use
