This is what we already knew about Samira: In June 2020, a blog post from Riot Games appeared that promised three new champions. The champions were cryptically presented with encrypted words: The first two vaguely described LoL characters have turned out to be Lillia and Yone.
For the third champion, who was supposed to come in 2020, Riot asked (via riotgames):
“Do you like to laugh in the face of fear? Do you enjoy chaining abilities together to create stylish new combos? Does the idea of diving right into the fray and unleashing a whirlwind of blades and bullets delight you, and then jumping out with just a hint of health left?
If you can answer “Yes” to these 3 questions, then we might be releasing just the right champion for you. A new marksman, “dress to slay”, coming later this year.”

New LoL marksman is probably called Samira – hints found
These are the new details now: On the test server, this “red S” has now appeared as the new emote “Style: Rank S”. It is unclear what it is for.
In addition to this emote, 12 “Easter Egg” files have been found that partially reference this “S” and in which the name Samira appears.
Therefore, people now believe that the new marksman described by Riot Games could be named Samira.
The community believes that the new heroine could be a mix of marksman and assassin, diving right into the fray.
