The survival game Rust has previously established the race and penis size of player avatars, soon this will also be determined by gender.
The philosophy behind character creation in Rust seems to be that no one can choose who they are born as: not in real life, so why in a game? It started with the developers not allowing players to determine what skin color their character has in the game, but rather based on their stream ID. This resulted in an interesting effect, although white players suddenly found themselves confronted with racism in the game.
Then, by chance, the same happened with the size of the male organ. This did not cause much discussion, but was more of a source of amusement.
Now, female characters are being introduced, but the gender will also be determined randomly. Initial complaints: It would be ridiculous if a delicate woman suddenly had a man’s voice, the response was, that it is no stranger than if a man’s body had the voice of an eight-year-old.
They also want to portray women “realistically,” avoiding over-idealization with huge breasts and tiny waists.

The female player models will be introduced in limited scope in an update that will also bring new cosmetic items, wood, and bone armors. It is meant to make “server administrators” into female player models, while still developing some aspects internally. Later, they will more generously distribute X chromosomes.
