PUBG is currently available for PC and has been on Xbox One for almost a year. There are also stripped-down versions for Android and iOS. However, PlayStation 4 fans currently have no way to play the big Battle Royale game on their console.
But if the latest rumors and speculation are to be believed, the PS4 version is practically at the door.

What are the clues for the PS4 launch? A player found the logo of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and an unused title image for the game in the game database of the PSN. These are strong indicators of an upcoming release of a PS4 version of PUBG.
When will the PS4 version of PUBG come out? These clues are a strong indicator that PUBG may finally be coming to PlayStation 4. The launch could happen sooner than you might think, as December 2018 will mark one year since PUBG was released on Xbox. It’s possible that PUBG will also arrive on PS4 by Christmas.
Microsoft had PUBG for 1 year: At the time of the Xbox release, rumors surfaced that Microsoft had made a deal with the PUBG developers, and the PS4 version should either not come out at all or be released much later.
A year would definitely be a good timeframe for such a temporary exclusivity deal. Analyst Daniel Ahmad, who is well-versed in the Asian gaming market, also shares this view.
Korean age rating as a hint: Another hint for an upcoming release could be the fact that finally, a rating for PUBG from the Korean Rating Board has been established. This occurred in September and is considered a sure sign that a game will soon be released.
Since Early Access programs cannot run on PS4, the game must therefore be released as a full version immediately.
Will there be crossplay? So far, PUBG does not offer crossplay between PC and Xbox One. Following this trend, there will likely not be crossplay with PS4 at first. But perhaps this will change after Fortnite broke Epic’s strict anti-crossplay policy.
