In GTA 5 Online everything is usually allowed, but a line has now been crossed with sexual harassment. The popular roleplay server “NoPixel” is banning Twitch streamer SlikeR from the server, as he has approached women inappropriately. The streamer admits mistakes and reminds his fans: The world has changed. We no longer have the 90s.
What kind of server is this? The online game GTA Online has experienced a renaissance on Twitch in recent years, partly due to player projects like NoPixel. It is a roleplay server: Players depict various roles and interact with other players on the server through the “Proximity Voice Chat.” This is one feature that has fueled role-playing projects on Twitch over the years. Anyone can talk to anyone if they are standing next to each other.
In the past, these roleplay projects became popular partly because some streamers acted like criminals and others like police officers chasing them. The streamers engaged in chases and gunfights. This results in entertaining evenings.
Especially when there are no current games on Twitch, GTA Online is trending and constantly found in the top ranks of the streaming platform. However, it must be noted on the server that the roleplay should really be in the foreground. This rule has now led to Twitch streamer SlikeR’s downfall.
“Oh, that turns me on so much”
This is why the streamer was permanently banned: SlikeR has been noted for repeatedly negative behavior: He has approached women and explained how hot he finds them. The streamer did not stop even when they explicitly told him his behavior was inappropriate.
In response to a woman’s comment: He cannot talk to women like that. If she finds out that he continues to talk to women like this, they would have a problem, SlikeR replied. “This won’t happen again. It’s so hot. It turns me on so much.”
This is “shitty roleplay”
The streamer SlikeR has now been permanently banned from the server. The operator of the server, Koil, apparently wanted to make an example. He said:
“It’s not about someone saying a woman is sexy or hitting on her. The problem is that every roleplayer who makes zero effort comes here and does this.
What comes of it: as a woman, you walk down the street and you get yelled at 20 times in 10 minutes. That’s shit roleplay and it’s damn worthless.”

“We won’t win, the LGBTQ community has taken over”
This is how the streamer reacts: He was initially surprised by the ban. However, he then accepted his fate. He said he was initially angry about the ban and didn’t understand why anyone would ban him, as he would never make a woman uncomfortable. But when he looked back at everything, he realized that his first reaction was exaggerated and he now understands why people could evaluate his behavior that way.
SlikeR had assumed: People understand when he is joking, and see him in the best light and that he means well. But he should also have thought about the people who do not wish him well. They don’t know who he is and might take his statements the wrong way.
This is stated in an official statement on Twitter. However, on Twitch, Sliker spoke a different language.
In a Twitch clip, Sliker tells his fans that he finds it ridiculous that he and streamer Greekgodx are being portrayed as “sexual harassers” when it’s just pixels in a game. That’s not really the woman, but just her character in the game.
But the streamers couldn’t defend themselves. The LGBTQ community has taken over. You would always lose. The world and the media are no longer like in the 90s.
Is this an isolated case? No, shortly beforehand the streamer Greekgodx was also banned from NoPixel. He was also halted due to his behavior towards women.
The Twitch streamer xQc found it hilarious: Twitch streamers are getting in trouble and it doesn’t concern him. Who would have thought it would ever come to this.
The case of SlikeR now fits into a whole series of incidents where male streamers have been sharply criticized for their behavior towards women:
- In Germany, the Twitch project for Rust started with a similar incident
- In South Korea, the Overwatch world champion completely embarrassed himself while streaming with a woman
- And in 2020 a streamer agency even had to close because the boss behaved inappropriately towards a woman who later had a career at Blizzard

GTA 5 is one of the most popular games of the last 10 years. Anyone who wants to discover the game in a new way today should not be deterred by such incidents as with SlikeR and should try a roleplay server:
