Since yesterday, players can experience the second part of the nightmare saga from the current RIFT patch Wandering Nightmares and face the new story missions.
The Origin of Lord Arak
The story quests of the current Rift patch 3.3 “Wandering Nightmares” were not all available at launch. Since yesterday, players can play the second of a total of three acts. In this part of the story, you travel back in time and experience crucial moments that shaped Telara into the world it is today. Alongside the events of the Mathosian Civil War and the fall of Sprosshafen, players seek to uncover the origin of Lord Arak.
Those who face time travel can expect some rewards, such as a personal NPC that opens portals to all sorts of (random) places. Since some of these rewards are tradable, they also make great additional income or gifts for fellow players.
The third act is expected to follow in August and conclude the nightmare saga – a big final battle is likely ahead.
