Trion Worlds is currently preparing the big update “Heavenly Storm” for the MMORPG Rift. Additionally, the addon Prophecy of Ahnket is now available for free.

Update Heavenly Storm brings new content to the Free2Play MMORPG Rift
Prepare for war or take flight. Because Crucia is determined to destroy Ahnket – and you stand in the way of this plan! With the major update “Heavenly Storm,” a ton of new content awaits you in RIFT. This includes:
- “Vostigar Summit.” We will delve a bit deeper into this brand new zone with its new quest lines and numerous fascinating sights in the coming weeks.
- Tartarus Depths – Normal Mode
- New Raid Tears
- New Instant Adventures
- New Creatures
Additionally, four new Primalist souls will be available for free to all players who possess the Primalist calling. These souls include Mystic, Seer, Predator, and Primeval.
The addon “Prophecy of Ahnket” has had problems – now it’s free
To make the new adventures of “Heavenly Storm” available to everyone, the previously paid addon “Prophecy of Ahnket” is now available for free.
Therefore, everyone who does not yet have this expansion can look forward to many new challenges and a new storyline. In this, two ancient evil forces face each other and you must make a serious decision. Who should win the war? Crucia or Ahnket. But both are tyrants and every decision seems to plunge the world into chaos.
The addon “Prophecy of Ahnket” was previously known as “Starfall Prophecy.” The expansion has caused Rift some problems: It was released in 2016 in an unfinished state, which some described as catastrophic. Features were delivered with months of delay . Instead of fun, the addon brought problems and frustration.
In hindsight, it was said that a flu wave and hardware problems were responsible for the addon being released in such a weak state.
Many players blame the addon, the increased level cap, and the resulting lack of content for a crisis in RIFT.
While you can now play “Prophecy of Ahnket” for free, you still have to wait until July 19 to experience the “Heavenly Storm”.
