A lively discussion has recently been sparked on Reddit, where a user calls on the developer Blizzard to offer the services in the shop for the MMORPG World of Warcraft as part of the subscription. The thread already has 700 comments and is currently receiving support from many fans of the MMORPG.
What is it about? The Blizzard shop includes not only offers for its in-house games but also services for its titles. Particularly, World of Warcraft offers several services, although character customization is no longer included:
In the Reddit thread, user MothPreacher expressed concerns about the shop services in relation to the MMORPG World of Warcraft. He is not impressed after the developer Blizzard, in his perception, praised for improvement and wanted to listen more to the players.
He hopes that Blizzard will eventually pay more attention to the services that mean zero workload, but have ridiculously high prices

Server transfers and name changes are particularly important to players
How did the users react? The Reddit user dirtySyko commented on the thread with a lengthy post, which was honored with over 1,500 upvotes and seems to reflect the tenor of the discussion. Specifically, he criticizes certain services as well, stating that things like server transfer should be part of the subscription (via Reddit).
He further states that this service should be possible at least once a month without additional costs in the subscription. He justifies it by saying that it should not be one’s fault if the server eventually dies

Finally, the user claims that there is nothing cosmetic or no option to play another character.
The user Ehkoe further addresses the server transfer: It’s actually disgusting how much it costs to transfer servers when you have alts in WoW.
He further says that Blizzard should at least have the decency to allow transferring as many characters as possible with just one purchase of the service – as is the case with FFXIV (via Reddit).
The Reddit user Drakknfyre also addresses the renaming of characters. He claims to remember that the price for the service was originally intended to prevent abuse of the service (via Reddit).
