The MMO Riders of Icarus was in beta for almost exactly a year and has now finally been officially released for PC and also on Steam. Since the open beta launch, a lot has changed, and there is also a new launch trailer.
Riders of Icarus is a colorful online role-playing game from Asia. The highlight of the game is mainly the numerous animals and monsters that you can not only fight but also catch and tame. Afterwards, they serve as loyal mounts, pets, or even upgrades for your weapons and armor.
Riders of Icarus started almost exactly a year ago on July 6 for the open beta and thus the soft launch. Now the “hard launch” is here, and Riders of Icarus is finally available as a release version.
Riders of Icarus – Launch Version with New Trailer
Riders of Icarus is now available on PC and can be downloaded and played for free both via its own launcher and on Steam. The game is, after all, free-to-play. Compared to the version at the beta launch, a lot has changed in the game. Among other things, there were:
- A new dungeon–currency
- Overhaul of the dungeon–loot
- New world boss–quests
- Changes to crafting
- New classes, such as the Ranger or the recently introduced Trickster–Fairy
Since the open beta was already the soft launch of Riders of Icarus, there will of course be no wipe or anything similar at the game’s start. Your heroes, animals, and achievements are therefore safe. On the occasion of the game’s launch, there is a special launch trailer that also showcases the Trickster again. Have fun!
