Riders of Icarus is still in the Open Beta, but there is already a first major update. In it, we explore new areas, get a higher level cap, and tame previously unseen animals.
Last week, the major update “Breath of the Icy Keep” was announced, and today it is finally here. The hefty expansion brings a lot of new content to the online role-playing game with many mounts. For one, exactly those, because there are mounts, mounts, and more mounts.
You will find the new creatures in the newly added region of Parnas Coast. It is freezing there, so you will need local mounts, as these can withstand the cold. In the new area, two special instances await you: the Veil Cave, which you can explore starting at level 28, and the Keep of Rondo, the kidnapper of the princess from the game’s intro. However, you can only enter there starting at level 34, and the new level cap is set at 35.
