A guild meeting, even during the journey
NetEase is actually known for marketing Blizzard’s big games in China, but it also has some other “irons in the fire” and seems to be grabbing a rather unusual record this time. While in World of Warcraft, a maximum of three players can roam the colorful worlds on a mount, one can only laugh dryly about that in Revelation.
A staggering 50 players can fit on the gigantic mix of manta ray and whale. This allows for a major guild event to be held “on the fly”.
The oversized, mobile contraption was the reward of an inter-server PvP tournament. Despite this record, it does not hide the fact that the game “Revelation” is doing relatively poorly – it complains about too few players, at least according to the Asia-focused site MMO-Culture. The operator is currently trying to breathe new life into the game and plans to offer an “open beta” for the update in the near future.
