Revelation Online, the Asian online RPG by My.com, offers a lot of comfort features. One of them is called Talent and gives you the opportunity to gain experience points faster and level up, so you don’t lose sight of the hardcore players.
Imagine you complete a task and receive a reward for it. Now imagine you have a magical pot that gives you another reward for the same action. That sounds great and is exactly what your heroes in Revelation Online have at their disposal.
The system is called “Talent” and represents an additional source of experience points in the third beta of Revelation Online starting today.
An infinite source of free XP!
Your supply of Talent XP grows every day depending on your level. When you gain experience points for anything, you will receive additional experience points from the Talent pool on top of the usual XP. Talent refills every day until it reaches a maximum value.
This is nothing new in the world of MMORPGs. Many games have a game mechanic like this, for example, the “Rest XP” from SWTOR, which accumulates when you are in cantinas and your own spaceship.
Revelation Online takes the Rest XP system even further. So that you don’t waste a single valuable experience point above your limit, there is the kind NPC Mora Zin. He mysteriously collects all Talent points that exceed your limit. So when the pot is empty, you just go to Mora Zin and collect the XP he has stored for you – at least until your personal supply is full again.
Offline is no obstacle
By the way, Mora Zin’s supply of XP is unlimited; you can store as much XP with him as you want. But be careful! Mora Zin only gives you a certain amount of Talent XP for free each day. For more XP, you have to pay with valuable “Ausgyth points” that you earn through PvP and dungeon rewards.
Especially cool: Your hero stores Talent XP even when you’re not online. So if you go on vacation for two weeks and can’t play, you don’t have to worry about your XP stock. This way, My.com ensures that even players who are rarely online can quickly catch up in levels and reach the endgame without grind and frustration.
