23-year-old Antonia “Reved” Staab is the biggest streamer on German Twitch. However, in recent years, she has struggled with health issues. In a new video, she talks about her health, work, and how things will move forward.
What is going on with Reved? In August 2023, the streamer announced that she would take a break from Twitch. She explained that she has been suffering from constant headaches for some time and finally wants to take the time to get to the bottom of it.
In a video published on her YouTube channel on September 12, 2023, she discusses the background of her decision and reveals how things will continue.

How is the streamer’s health? In her video, Reved explains that she has suffered from headaches since childhood, but the exact cause remains unclear. However, in the last two years, the situation has worsened to the point where she needs to draw a “line.”
During this time, she has had to take painkillers almost daily just to get through the day. For her morning coffee, she takes 2 paracetamol, according to Reved.
At the same time, she has physically deteriorated to the point where climbing stairs or showering while standing has become difficult. Additionally, she feels every day as if she is getting sick. “That at 23 I feel like a 70-year-old in terms of health wasn’t the plan,” says the streamer.

The 23-year-old explains that she can also make a doctor’s appointment alongside streaming. However, she has already tried a lot in this regard without really making progress. Consequently, every doctor’s visit is “stressful and disappointing.”
At one point, she felt so unwell that she lacked the strength to go to the doctor. Only in the last six months has she reached a sufficient mental state to address the issue. Just this year, she has already spent €25,000 on medical services not covered by health insurance.
So far, she has prioritized work over her health: If there was a possible doctor’s appointment only during her streaming time, she did not take it. That is supposed to change now.
What’s next? Reved explains that her streaming break is indefinite: Neither she nor anyone else knows when it will start again. Her first priority is simply to get healthy. She describes the thought as “fucking scary.”
After all, streaming is not only her main source of income, but also “totally [her] thing.” The 23-year-old doesn’t really want to do something else, like shift her focus to YouTube or TikTok. That is why she is also firmly determined to return to Twitch someday.
