The streamer Antonia “Reved” Staab (23) explained in a livestream on Twitch on Sunday, May 5, 2024, what consequences her relationship with cosplayer Anissa “Anni The Duck” Baddour (26) has for her: She suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, which has led to muscle cramps and chronic headaches. She also reports of a dissociative disorder.
This is the situation:
- The gaming influencers Reved and Anni The Duck were in a relationship for some time. The relationship ended in November 2022 with the statement: There is no bad blood. They do not want to talk about the relationship and its end.
- In mid-2023, Reved stated that she feels so unwell physically that she can no longer stream regularly on Twitch. She wants to see doctors to solve her problem. She suffered from chronic headaches.
- Now, Reved explains the cause of her physical and mental ailments: She is suffering from the aftereffects of her relationship with Anni The Duck. The time she spent with her, she describes as the “darkest time” of her life.
Reved was for a long time the largest German Twitch streamer, Anni The Duck is also among the largest:

This is what Reved says: The streamer says:
- The relationship with Anni The Duck “sucked up her entire life energy.” She felt unloved and worthless.
- She was in a permanent state of “Fight or Flight”
- The entire relationship was the “worst time” of her life
How does Reved suffer from the aftereffects? The streamer says that many problems have arisen from the time spent with Anni The Duck in Berlin, with which she is still struggling.
The chronic headaches that led to her break from Twitch are due to an extreme form of muscle tension that pulls from the shoulders into the neck and causes headaches. The actual cause of the muscle tension is post-traumatic stress disorder, probably from the time of the relationship.
“This is one of the terms I never thought would play any role in my life until the diagnosis came.”
She says she suffered from headaches as a child – but it was only in the last three years, since she lived with Anni The Duck in Berlin, that the headaches worsened to the point where she took medication several times a week.
Reved says she was determined to find a physical cause for the problems, but doctors kept asking her if there might be something psychological behind it:
“I didn’t want to accept it. I thought to myself: Hey, I never had it this bad in my life. Why should I be so burdened now? What is going on?”
She is now in trauma therapy: In Berlin, she lived in a dissociative disorder, perceiving herself as if through a fog or in the third person, often unable to remember details, forgetting what she had eaten or which movie she had seen. She couldn’t even remember a conversation with her mother, who had told her about a family death.
Even when Reved spat blood, Anni said it wasn’t that bad
Couldn’t she talk to Anni about her problems? Reved describes a scene in which she explained to her then-girlfriend that she was not feeling well and felt like she was falling into a depressive hole.
Anni responded that she didn’t believe that. Reved laughed too much during the day and seemed to manage her life.
Even when Reved had spat blood and paramedics said it was apparently due to extreme stress, Anni reassured her that it wasn’t that bad. Her ex-boyfriend had also had it once. Reved should just go to sleep, and it would be better by tomorrow.
Because the statements came from someone who had a lot of expertise on depression, and who was so close to her, Reved did not take the complaints seriously and therefore did not go to the doctor. Yet, Reved made doctor appointments for Anni The Duck, drove her to treatment, and waited for her there.
Reved complains about body shaming
This is what Reved says about her relationship with Anni The Duck: In the relationship, some things happened that made Reved so uncomfortable that she doesn’t talk about them with friends or her therapist:
“What I can say, which was a topic almost daily, was body shaming: I had too much on my hips and was no longer attractive. Then I had too little on my hips and looked almost like Sophia Thiel, and she didn’t find that attractive anymore. I did my eyeliner wrong, my makeup was wrong, my hair was styled wrong. Fishing hats no longer suited me. I should go to another hairdresser. All these comments, all these jabs, this ‘Look, I find this person super attractive and she is the exact opposite of me.'”
Reved says she felt more and more worthless in the relationship.
This is how the relationship ended
Why did she stay with her for so long? Reved says she believed in “true love” and thought that if she just improved, the relationship would become good. Apparently, she was emotionally dependent. Until the end, she believed in the relationship.
Reved even wanted to save the relationship with couples therapy; only when Anni The Duck refused this therapy did Reved leave.
She says: She dated a completely different person than the one she then ended up with. There is anyway a strong discrepancy between how Anni The Duck presents herself on the internet and how she really is.
In retrospect, Reved cannot really explain why she held on to the relationship for so long. She wishes she had a better answer to that question.
What does Anni The Duck say? Currently, there is no statement from Anni The Duck regarding Reved’s statements. We at MeinMMO have requested a statement from her and will publish it should it come.
Reved’s statements were triggered by a statement from streamer Mowky about Anni The Duck. Mowky was considered a friend of Anni The Duck and was also featured in an ARD documentary where the influencer was introduced: In a documentary, they were best friends: 3 months later, Mowky says how terrible Anni The Duck really is
