What was Ragnarok Online 2? Ragnarok Online 2 was the sequel to one of the most iconic MMORPGs of all time. Like its predecessor, it relied on a card system and the strength of different classes and professions.
What did the MMO fail at? Ragnarok Online 2 could not captivate players. Even the Steam release in mid-2013 did not significantly change this.
Although the developer Gravity Interactive received a financial boost intended to save the MMORPG, it was all for naught. On Steam, only around 30 players were on average playing in spring 2019.
What are the best memories? The game Ragnarok Online 2 is not completely closed yet. It has only been announced that its development has been halted. The cash shop is still operational, through which the MMORPG currently finances itself.

Are there alternatives or successors? There are various titles from the Ragnarok universe that can still be played. Currently, the developer Gravity is working on a new version that is to be released for smartphones as well as for PC.
