Everyone who has been waiting for the interesting genre mix Rend will have to be a little more patient. The Early Access phase has been postponed.
Originally, the Early Access phase of Rend was supposed to start this spring. Now spring is over, summer is here, but there is no sign of an Early Access phase.
The developers of the online game have now spoken out about this and explain that they had to postpone the launch further. The enormous response that the developers have experienced since the announcement has led to the desire to elevate Rend to a new level, which takes time.
The game is set to become even better
Therefore, the Early Access phase will only start later this year, but it will provide a better gaming experience that better reflects, and even exceeds, the vision that the developers have for Rend.
They will use this time to add new features and gameplay mechanics to make the entire game even more rounded and fun. The developers have not yet named a specific date for the Early Access phase.
MOBA meets MMORPG and Survival
Rend represents a mix of MMORPG, Survival, and MOBA. You create a hero with whom you must gather resources in a dangerous wilderness to craft items.
You use these in battles where three factions meet. At the end of each match, you aim to attack and destroy the bases of the opposing factions. Once that is achieved, the game starts all over again.
