In the upcoming online RPG featuring MOBA and survival elements Rend, you can access a large arsenal of weapons to defeat your enemies.
You start Rend similarly to other survival RPGs with weapons that you craft from stones and branches. It is also possible to build initial bows. However, these weapons will not be particularly effective. The further you progress in the game, the better weapons you can create. This includes more effective bows with greater penetration power as well as crossbows and so-called repeaters.
The further you progress, the more effective weapons you will acquire
A repeater fires multiple shots in quick succession. However, its accuracy leaves much to be desired, which means you have to stand quite close to your opponents to hit them. Crossbows deal more damage, but have a strong recoil, making them slower than a repeater and potentially problematic for aiming at a distance.
Of Blasters and Bombs
Upon reaching the bronze level, you gain access to spike launchers, blasters, and bombs. A spike launcher shoots a spear at your opponents with immense force and deals a lot of damage. However, the recoil is tremendous. Blasters are a type of pistol that fires shrapnel, but only one piece per shot.
Afterwards, reloading is necessary. The bombs, on the other hand, possess a very high penetration power and have different effects. These include shrapnel or bombs specifically designed for sieges. In combination with traps, bombs are particularly effective.
One of the most powerful weapons in the game is the ballista. This is a stationary gun designed to protect fortifications from sieges. However, ballistae can also be used for offense and make any siege battle particularly exciting. Currently, it is still unclear when Rend will be released.
