In the new coop shooter Remnant: From the Ashes , players only see about half of the game in a single run. However, this is set to change soon with the “Adventure Mode” – with this endgame, players can then engage in specific activities.
This is the situation: Currently, players do not see everything that Remnant: From the Ashes has to offer during a playthrough.
The developers themselves say in an AMA on reddit: “In one run through the city, you might encounter Gorefist in your first dungeon, but the second time you might fight against a completely different boss. This also applies to side quests. You will never see all the content in one run.”
As a result, players currently miss out on dungeons, weapons, gear pieces and even traits.
Adventure Mode suitable for farming
How this changes: Currently, players are waiting for the “Adventure Mode”, the first major feature of Remnant: From the Ashes to be released after launch. The launch has positively surprised many with the shooter.
With this mode, players can “reroll” a specific activity or area. This way, players can embark on the hunt for a specific gear piece.
This is essentially the “endgame” of Remnant: From the Ashes. Players do not have to replay the entire campaign to reach a specific point.
When will it come? The mode was supposed to be released 2 weeks after launch, which would be September 3rd.

The game will be supported as long as fans want it
What else is coming? The developers have announced that they will support the game as long as it is desired by the fans. This is now a foundation to build upon.
There are plans for:
- New biomes
- Improvements to existing biomes
- New weapons
- And mechanics to change the base campaign
Apparently, the developers also have an “Adventure Mods Plus” in mind, where players can then play “endlessly replayed biomes” – but there is still very little information on this. The developers state in the AMA: “Everything is possible.”
