The co-op shooter Remnant 2 is on the starting blocks, and we now also know the system requirements. How fast does your PC need to be if you want to play Remnant 2 on Steam?
With Remnant 2, a new co-op game launches on July 25 on Steam. The official system requirements have now also been published.
A lot of information is included, but a crucial note for many players is still missing. MeinMMO presents the system requirements for Remnant 2 below.
Remnant 2: System requirements for PC
What should be considered? The system requirements for Remnant 2 can theoretically change slightly, as a few details are still missing.
Minimum requirements:
- Operating System: Win 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-7600 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics Card: GeForce GTX 1650 / AMD Radeon RX 590
- Storage Space: 80 GB
Recommended requirements:
- Operating System: Win 10
- Processor: Intel i5-10600k / AMD R5 3600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics Card: GeForce RTX 2060 / AMD Radeon RX 5700
- Storage Space: 80 GB
What do the data mean? “Minimum requirements” means that you can play the game at all. Often this means gaming in 720p (HD) at 30 FPS with low settings. So you shouldn’t expect too much.
“Recommended requirements” means that you can usually play the game in high detail.
What information is missing? So far, the development team has only provided minimum and recommended requirements. Therefore, we still do not know what FPS we can ultimately play at in recommended settings. Gunfire Games has also not yet specified a resolution.
Most players should be able to play the game without any issues
What do the system requirements mean? With a GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 590, the minimum requirements are not very high. The GTX 1650 is still one of the most popular graphics cards and continues to rank first in the monthly Steam survey.
With the RTX 3060, which ranks second in the Steam charts, most players should also have little trouble playing the game. The RTX 3060 is (depending on benchmarks) about 5 to 10% ahead of the RTX 2060, which Gunfire Games lists as the recommended GPU.
