What is the echo of the radiant essence? In Remnant 2 you will encounter an important NPC in Nerud. The Keeper, as he is called, wishes for you to find the echo of the radiant essence and bring it to him for his purposes.

How to find the echo of the radiant essence

This is what you need to consider: In Remnant 2, everything is procedurally generated. Not only the enemies but also the positions of bosses and NPCs. Therefore, we cannot give you an exact description of where to find each boss or NPC.

The Keeper should always be near the huge statue that carries a glowing orb into the sky.

Where can you find the echo of the radiant essence? To find the echo of the radiant essence, you need to seek the being Tal’Ratha. This corpulent fellow is locked away in a prison.

You need to talk to him and then decide whether you want to be eaten by him or refuse.

Both options will lead to a fight against him. We recommend you decline his offer for your first playthrough; otherwise, you will have a frustrating time with him. If you decide on an offer, you just need to defeat him.

Does Tal’Ratha have weaknesses? In the battle, you should primarily aim for his mouth. This is very vulnerable to damage. Also, keep a large distance from him so you can dodge more easily. The being is very mobile and can hit you easily.

What should I do with the essence? Once you have defeated Tal’Ratha, you will receive the sought-after essence along with items. With this item, you now have the choice between two options:

• You go to the Keeper and hand over the echo
  • Reward: You will receive the Siphon Heart relic
    • Function: Grants 10% of the base damage dealt as life steal for 10 seconds upon use.
• You go to the Drzyz Replicator and hand over the echo
  • Reward: You will receive the Idol of Void (an amulet)
    • Function: Increases reload speed by 20%. Reloading requires only 50% of magazine capacity from reserves to become fully charged.

The Replicator is also located near the Keeper NPC who gives you the quest for the echo. Look around the area; there is a hole in the ground where you can fall down. In this room, you will find the merchant.
