If you have unlocked one of these archetypes in a playthrough of your choice, this class can be selected as a starter archetype for every new character you create. This is convenient if you want to experience some variety in a new playthrough.

In the following part, we will show you each archetype individually, explain how to get them, and what makes them special.

The Summoner

What kind of class is this? The Summoner is known for summoning minions of the seed. If they annoy you, you can even blow them up. Very useful if you enjoy playing solo and need support in battles.

How do I unlock this class? To unlock the Summoner, you need to find the Blood Moon Altar in Yaesha. This altar offers the faded grimoire for purchase, but only if you collect the rare resource “Blood Moon Essence”.

You will find this when the Blood Moon is in effect in Yaesha. Now, you must shoot pink glowing wasps. Once you have shot enough, buy the faded grimoire and head to Wallace at Station 13. There, you will turn the book into an engram and can now equip the Summoner.

The Archon

What kind of class is this? The Archon is a complicated but powerful class. With it, you can generate lightning strikes from your arms and additionally benefit from a high mod regeneration rate. If you have a suitable build, you are almost unstoppable.

How do I unlock this class? The Archon is difficult to unlock because it is tied to items and archetypes that you must equip before you can obtain the item for the Archon. The following items are required:

• The “Prowler” class at level 05 with the “Wormhole” skill activated
• The “Explorer” class at level 10 with the “Lucky Hunter” skill activated
• Amulet: Leto’s Amulet
• Ring 1: Greenish Yellow Moonstone
• Ring 2: Anastasija’s Inspiration
• Ring 3: Zania’s Malice
• Ring 4: Ring of the Black Cat
• Armor: Spheres Walker Set
• Long Gun: Ford’s Shotgun
• Handgun: Cube Gun
• Melee Weapon: Staff of the Labyrinth
• Relic: Heart of the Void

Once you have found all the items, you need to go to the labyrinth and open the corrupted door that glimmers red. Pass through the portal and look for the item “Strange Box”. Bring this box to Wallace to create an engram for the Archon class.

The Explorer

What kind of class is this? The Explorer is designed to buff its teammates or generate or find more loot. Additionally, you will find it easier to spot items.

How do I unlock this class? You can unlock the Explorer by finding the broken compass. You get this compass after defeating the final boss of Remnant 2. Bring the item to Wallace and create an engram with it.

The Engineer

What kind of class is this? The Engineer focuses primarily on heavy weapons and placing turrets. Additionally, you can even overclock these heavy turrets and guns to make them even more powerful.

How do I unlock this class? You can unlock the class by finding and collecting the alien device in N’Erud. You need to go to the spawn point “Vault of the Eons” or “Timeless Horizon”. Now search in the border area between the deadly fog and your walkable path for a niche you can sprint through.

Now jump to another platform in front of you into the fog. Collect an armor piece and jump straight down from the platform you are standing on. There, you will find the alien device. Bring this device to Wallace and shape it into the required device “Drzyr’s Gauge”.

The Alchemist

What kind of class is this? The Alchemist is known for providing his allies with buffs and effects. These make you stronger and more resilient. However, these buffs are not created with spells, but with potions.

How do I unlock this class? To unlock the Alchemist, you must find the mysterious stone in Losomn. To do this, go to the sewers and wander around next to the various sewer entrances of the city that have bent rods.

At some point, the Bone Collector will grab you and kill you. You will die but also wake up in another place. Once you wake up there, you must defeat the Bone Collector to get the mysterious stone.

Bring this stone to Wallace and turn it into the “Philosopher’s Stone”.

The Prowler

What kind of class is this? The Prowler is a master of deception and mobile abilities. Melee combat is also one of his skills, making him a deadly class.

How do I unlock this class? To unlock the Prowler or Intruder, you need to find the wooden knife. Start your journey first in the reality of “Losomn” in the area of “Municipality of Morrow”. If your campaign does not have the location, you can roll a world with the Municipality of Morrow in Adventure mode. Now proceed as follows:

Now head to the area “Earth of the Seed” in the location “The Corrupted Harbor”

• There, you must interact with a mushroom-like corpse with your Dreamcatcher
  • You will now receive the item “Dream of the Wanderer,” which you can also use immediately

You will now be teleported to the same reality, which this time has a reddish shimmer

• Look for the visually identical location and defeat the elite boss “Curse”

After the fight, you will receive the item “Wooden Knife”

This item is then brought to Wallace to unlock the class “Prowler”.
