No announcement for a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been made yet. A petition aims to help.
After Rockstar announced the new Red Dead Redemption 2 only for Xbox One and PS4, a petition for a PC version of the game has now been started. After all, the gamer community on the PC platform is quite large and has already shown great interest in Rockstar’s multiplayer games, as seen with GTA 5 Online.
Over 17,000 signatures already
A petition was started on Change.org shortly after the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 to show that the PC community are also passionate fans of the game series. Within 4 hours of the petition’s launch, 5000 signatures were already reached. Now there are 17,304 signatures supporting a PC version of the game. Many players would be disappointed if Red Dead Redemption 2 were to be released only on consoles, like its predecessor. The petition letter states:
… We have always supported you (Rockstar) and loved your games. Please do not leave us out of your great games, as you did with Red Dead Redemption in 2010. It would be unfair not to release Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC.
If you want, you can give your support to this petition. Here is the link to the petition on Change.org. A trailer for the game is expected to be released tomorrow, which you can of course watch with us.
