Media Markt has listed a release date for a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2019. Now fans are discussing whether this listing was a mistake or if it is actually a placeholder for an announcement from Rockstar.
Many fans would be happy about a PC version of RDR 2. So far, the release is officially only planned for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This product page from the retailer has now given many fans new hope for such a PC version.
Media Markt leaks Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC
As reported by the Dutch website TechTastic, there is a product page for the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Media Markt website.
When is the PC version coming? On the website, Media Markt showed a release date of December 31, 2019. This is obviously just a placeholder.
What do the fans say? Now people speculate whether Media Markt really knows “more” than the fans. Does Media Markt already know that a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming and has accidentally revealed it too early on the shop? After all, the website even displays an image of the game box as a PC version. This has now given players new hope.
Other players are calling for the hype to be tempered. “Media Markt trolled us” and “This isn’t real. Nothing is confirmed,” users write on Reddit.
