Apparently, 23 seconds of gameplay from the upcoming western epic Red Dead Redemption 2 has somehow leaked online. We have the gameplay leak for you. The map of Red Dead Redemption 2 is also visible before the release, at least part of the map.
The whole world is currently waiting for the launch of Red Dead Redemption 2 at the end of the week. A 20-second clip is causing a stir. Additionally, images of the game’s map and scattered screenshots are circulating.
Spoiler: There are images of the maps and a bit of gameplay to see. Just in case someone gets upset later.
23 Seconds of Gameplay from Red Dead Redemption 2
What can be seen: Arthur Morgan arrives at a camp and takes out 3 people. The last one dies in a slow-motion shot, pretty dramatic. The kill cam of Red Dead Redemption 2 captures his end.
You can see the weapon being selected from a menu. In the circular menu, there are 7 weapons visible:
- a revolver,
- the fist,
- a knife,
- a sawed-off shotgun,
- a bow,
- another handgun
- and some sort of rope or lasso.
The horses react to the gunfire. The other horses panic, while Arthur Morgan’s remains calm. This shows that Arthur has already built a deep bond with his horse. Rockstar has already explained that the relationship with horses is important for them to stay by your side in battles.
A large “Wanted” signal is prominent on the interface, indicating that the player is being hunted, similar to a “heat level” in GTA 5 Online. If you kill NPCs in Red Dead Redemption 2, bounties will be placed on you.

What else has leaked?
- We have a first image of the map of Red Dead Redemption 2. This is said to be about the part of the map that can be explored after 20 hours. The map of RDR2 is supposed to be extremely large, according to initial reports. Apparently, everything in Red Dead Redemption 2 is huge. The game is expected to take about 65 hours and boasts gigantic numbers of dialogues and animations.
